Our rapidly growing digital marketing agency is looking for a technically inclined, passionate, and eager-to-learn member to join our team.

The ideal web design candidate will be able to create thoughtful, beautiful, and intuitive websites that give small businesses a much-deserved online identity. They will be able to strategize and optimize each digital asset for branding, SEO, conversion optimization, and user experience to help small businesses grow.

Location: Remote – Based in Colorado Springs
Terms: Full time
Pay: Dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

WordPress Web Design:

• Build and design WordPress websites using Elementor
• Visualize and execute layout, design, and content strategy to bring a client’s website and goals to life
• Optimize websites for SEO, conversions, and user experience
• Develop and integrate brand identities through iconography, typography, color, space, graphics, and imagery
• Create graphic design assets and materials that will be integrated throughout the website using Canva or Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Perform in-depth research on keyword phrases, competition, user needs, and client goals
• Write persuasive and SEO optimized copy for headings, buttons, title tags and meta descriptions

SEO Related Web Page Design:

• Create and design pages and blog posts for our SEO clients and their websites across different platforms: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc.

Maintenance Work:

• Keep Plugins up to date
  Connect domains & emails
• Troubleshoot website problems

Other Responsibilities:

• Stay up to date on industry trends, creative web design inspiration, and Google algorithm updates as it relates to the functionality of websites
  Work in conjunction with the Succeeding Small team, (SEO specialists, digital marketers, copywriters, social media managers, and brand creators) to ensure all marketing aligns with brand and purpose
  Participation in our internship program where we teach students SEO and other digital marketing practices
  Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console

Candidate Requirements:

• 1+ years Web Design Experience
• 1+ years WordPress experience
• 1+ years Elementor experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Prioritizes quality and efficiency
• Self learner
• Team player
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Student or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
