How to Add Multiple Locations to Your Google Business Profile

SHARE THIS POST:

Owning a business with multiple locations poses a genuine online management and promotional challenge. It’s crucial to guarantee accurate and current listings for each site, facilitating effortless customer discovery and communication.

The ever-changing landscape of business profile platforms, updating at frequent intervals, adds complexity to the process. Consistently adjusting or creating fresh profiles for each location can be notably demanding.

Google Business Profiles are the most influential online listing, empowering businesses to manage their online presence across Google Search and Google Maps. Customers are 2.7 times more likely to consider a business reputable if they find a complete Business Profile on Google Search and Maps.

Establishing a Google Business Profile (previously known as Google My Business) for each location is critical. Doing so elevates your local SEO and streamlines customer location-based searches.

Managing Your Google Business Profile

Managing diverse profiles consumes excessive time and yields inefficiencies. Given the significance of time, especially in today’s fast-paced environment, Google Business Profiles offers a centralized solution to incorporate and manage all locations seamlessly.

You can effortlessly maintain consistent business information across all locations using your Google Business Profile. You can add operating hours and addresses, share updates, and engage with customer reviews from one centralized platform.

At Succeeding Small, we understand the unique challenges of owning a business spread across multiple locations. Navigating the dynamic landscape of online management and promotion can be quite a feat. This article will take you through seamlessly integrating and overseeing numerous locations within your Google Business Profile account.

Adding Additional Locations to Your Google Business Profile

Although it may seem challenging, adding additional locations to your Google Business Profile is straightforward. Assuming you have already created a Google Business Profile for one location, you must create a Business Group

1. Create a Business Group

After signing in to your Business Profile Manager, you can create a business group by going to the top left corner and selecting the “Businesses” option.

Click on “Create Group.”

Click on “Add Locations.”

2. Add All of Your Business Locations

After clicking “Add Location,” you can select “Add Single Location” from the dropdown menu.

Next, you can create the following business profile for another location. You should enter all the necessary details, including business name, address, phone number, website URL, and hours of operation. If you have them, definitely include photos and videos.

3. Optimize All of Your Listings

Because GBPs are your most critical listings, you will want to ensure that your details are accurate and up-to-date for when people find you on Maps or through Search.

Some other areas you can optimize:

  • Audit each profile for completeness, and make sure all your services are listed and described.
  • Upload high-quality images and videos.
  • Make sure your description is rich with keywords relevant to your business.
  • Update your hours of operation and account for days the company takes off.
  • Ensure you have a complete list of frequently asked questions and answers for people to review before contacting you.

Google Posts are also essential, but you shouldn’t treat them like any other form of social media. Creating a Google Post should be a sales pitch for your services or a call-to-action for your special promotion.

You’ll also want to maintain a consistent quality of content when you start creating Google Business Posts for each location. These steps will boost your online presence, help you reach more customers, and grow your business.
